CHEMICAL GROVE

Leggendo il magnifico e commovente romanzo di Edlef Köppen ( http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edlef_K%C3%B6ppen ) -Heeresbericht(Bollettino di Guerra) dopo essere rimasto particolarmente colpito dalla descrizione di un boschetto intossicato da armi chimiche (Pag. 335-338) ho deciso di tentare di riprodurre la scena in 1/35.


Reading the wonderful and heartwarming novel of Edlef Köppen ( http://www.worldwarone.it/2012/09/novels-of-great-war-heeresbericht-by.html )-Heeresbericht (Bulletin of War), after being impressed by the description of a grove poisoned by chemical weapons (pg. 335-338 in the Italian translate) I decided to groped to reproduce the scene in 1/35.

Per gli alberi ho utilizzato rametti di alloro  incisi con un bisturi e dipinti di bianco allo scopo di riprodurre delle  betulle.
Per i rami ho usato della teloxis aristata e per le foglie origano e tè dipinti con una sfumatura di lilla allo scopo di rendere l'intossicazione delle piante.

For the trees I used sprigs of laurel incised with a scalpel and painted white in order to reproduce the birches.
For the branches I used the teloxis aristata, leaves are oregano and tea painted with a shade of purple in order to make the intoxication of the plants.

Allo scopo di riprodurre il terreno ho usato terra cotta sulla quale ho incollato terre da colorificio e spezie , il tutto dipinto ad aerografo.

In order to reproduce the ground I used terra cotta on which I glued earthy pigments and spices, all painted with an airbrush.

Le due miniature provengono dal kit ICM -35291 German assault troops.
Allo scopo di riprodurre le maschere antigas ho usato magic sculpt, sprue , lamierino e acetato.

 Ho dipinto le due miniature con base acrilica e finitura ad olio.

The two miniatures are from the ICM kit -35 291 German assault troops. 
In order to reproduce the gas masks I used magic sculpt, sprue, sheet metal and acetate. 

I painted the two miniatures  with acrylic base and finish with oil paint .
